The "Linux Lifts Us Up" T-shirt design was chosen by the community as the second place winner in the 2012 Linux.com "Inspired by Linux" T-shirt design contest. The designer, Sabrina Aqil, says she wanted people to know the various ways that Linux plays an important role. The design features the Linux mascot, Tux, giving power with his own strength to a series of gears (representing the various Linux machines) that move the most unexpected technologies of our time: shuttles, submarines, cars, airplanes and cinema.
